NASD Announces the Ex-Dividend Date of May 24, 2004 for the Western Sierra Bancorp Three-for-Two Stock Split CAMERON PARK, Calif., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Western Sierra Bancorp today announced that NASD has set the ex-dividend date of May 24, 2004 for the three-for-two split of the company's common stock. Those shareholders that purchase the company's stock through broker-dealers during the period between the close of business on May 7, 2004 and before May 24, 2004 will receive a due bill for the additional shares of stock for the stock split and such additional shares will be paid after the payment date of the stock split which is May 21, 2004. Those shareholders that sell the company's stock through broker-dealers during the period between the close of business on May 7, 2004 and before May 24, 2004 will also receive a due bill for the tender to the purchaser of the additional shares of stock for the stock split and such additional shares will also be paid after the payment date of the stock split.
