To ensure a fair and merit-based performance comparison, 3rd party research groups Assistance in Marketing (U.S.) and Media Interactive (Japan) used two identical LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 mobile phones at each test station. One phone featured SRS TruMedia while the other phone featured Dolby Mobile. Each phone had the identical music/songs preloaded, and over one-hundred respondents in each study were asked to blindly consider which phone delivered the best music experience.
