AOC and SRS Labs Expand Partnership to Incorporate SRS Audio Solutions

SRS Labs Inc. (NASDAQ:SRSL), the industry leader in surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, announced today that it has extended its relationship with AOC and will bring TruSurround XT™, TruVolume™ and WOW HD™ to select TV models, All-in-One PCs and PC monitors, enabling AOC products to deliver the best possible audio performance and completing the user’s entertainment experience.

Depending on the product category, AOC will implement one or more of three leading SRS audio solutions:

TruSurround XT for immersive HDTV front-rendered surround sound.
TruVolume for TV-viewing free from annoying volume spikes.
WOW HD for improved dynamic audio and realistic clarity.

The first SRS-equipped HDTV models, AOC T942we and AOC T2242w, became available at the end of July 2010. Meanwhile, an additional 40 AOC monitors featuring SRS, such as the e2237Fwh2, e2437Fh2 and e2239Fwh, began shipping during the same timeframe.

Further solidifying its position as the de facto consumer electronic audio standard, SRS enhanced AOC products can be found at retail locations across APAC, Europe, North America and South America.
