ADRs Fall in New York Trading; JD.com Trades Actively

International stocks trading in New York fell on Tuesday.
The BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts fell 2% to
132.50. The European index dropped 2% to close at 123.62. The Asian
index decreased 1.6% to 152.90 and the Latin American index was
almost 4% lower, closing at 227.32. The emerging markets index was
down about 3% to 278.17.
The ADR for JD.com Inc. (JD) traded actively on Tuesday,
dropping almost 8% to $19.49 on worries that its business is poised
to slow down as the year winds up. On Monday, the Chinese ecommerce
giant forecast revenue for its next quarter of 130 million to 135
million renminbi, below the 136 million renminbi analysts polled by
FactSet expected.
The ADR for Credit Suisse Group AG (CS) also traded actively on
Monday, falling 4.7% to $11.72 amid a selloff in Swiss Bank stocks
that was sparked Tuesday when Julius Baer, another Swiss bank,
reported weak results for the July to October period. Shares of UBS
were also down for the day.
