Hong Kong Dollar Off Fresh 7-week High Against US Dollar

The Hong Kong dollar that advanced to more than a 7-week high of
7.7818 against the US dollar at the beginning of Friday's Asian
session pared gains shortly. The domestic unit reached a low of
7.7865 against the greenback and is presently trading near the
7.7850 level. The pair settled Thursday's deals at 7.7825.
