Hong Kong Dollar Slides To New Multi-week Low Against Greenback

The Hong Kong dollar edged lower against its US counterpart in
early Asian trading on Wednesday. The domestic unit slumped to
nearly a 5-week low of 7.7777 against the greenback around 8:35 pm
ET and the pair held steady thereafter. The Hong Kong currency is
presently worth near Tuesday's New York session closing value of
7.7764 against the US dollar.
