Aker Solutions ASA said Tuesday it has been awarded a contract worth between 500 million and 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner ($50.4 million-$151.2 million) from TotalEnergies SE for work on the Lapa field offshore Brazil.

Aker Solutions said it will deliver a subsea production system, associated equipment and installation as well as some work in partnership with Saipem Brazil.

Work starts immediately with deliveries scheduled from the first quarter of 2024 until the fourth quarter of 2024, it said.

The contract will be booked as order intake in the first quarter of 2023, it added.

The Lapa field consortium is comprised of TotalEnergies with a 45% stake, Shell PLC with 30% and Repsol Sinopec Brasil with 25%.
