On January 23, 2006, at the International Casino Expo (ICE), PokerTek, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEK) announced an international distribution agreement with a subsidiary of Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) that grants Aristocrat the right to distribute the PokerPro(TM) table and system across the globe. Under the terms of the agreement, Aristocrat will have exclusive rights to offer PokerTek's PokerPro(TM) tables and other PokerPro(TM)-branded technology solutions, to gaming venues across the globe with the exception of United States and Canadian gaming jurisdictions, where PokerTek places product directly. Through the alliance with Aristocrat, subject to receipt of necessary regulatory approvals, PokerTek will have the opportunity to supply PokerPro(TM) to potential customers in over 55 countries.
