revenue increased in the latest quarter as home-bound consumers
continued to spend on cookies and snacks.
The Chicago-based maker of Oreos and Triscuits said profit was
$1.08 billion in the second quarter, compared with $545 million a
year earlier. Earnings were 76 cents on a per-share basis, up from

share, one cent ahead of analysts' consensus estimates, according
to FactSet.
