Aker Solutions ASA said Thursday that it was awarded a contract and order with ConocoPhillips, in total worth around 1.32 billion Norwegian kroner ($140.3 million).

The Norwegian oil-and-gas industry service provider said the NOK130 million front-end engineer and design contract is set to begin immediately and expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021. The contract was booked as order intake in the third quarter of 2020, it added.

Additionally, Aker Solutions won an order to deliver the subsea production system for an offshore-Norway development. This is expected to start in the second half of 2021 and will involve Aker Solutions facilities in Norway, Brazil, Malaysia and the U.K.
