Corporation and The Allstate Foundation are implementing a
four-part, $1.5-million plan to
support Hurricane Harvey relief and recovery programs.

help goes beyond resolving insurance claims to include employee and
agency owner volunteer and fundraising efforts, educating consumers
on how to navigate the rebuilding process and supporting social

Allstate's plan includes:
- Matching Contributions – Employee and agency owner
contributions to Feeding America and the American Red Cross will be
matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $250,000.
- Youth Empowerment – Students from around the country involved
in the WE Schools programs that raise money for Hurricane Harvey
victims will have their fundraising matched on a dollar-for-dollar
basis up to $250,000.
- Public Education – "Rebuilding: Fully Utilizing Insurance and
Government Support" sessions will be open to the general public to
provide information about how to navigate insurance claims and
government support programs.
- Nonprofit Organizations – The Allstate Foundation, in
conjunction with more than 500 Allstate agencies in the impacted
areas, will make grants directly to local social-service
organizations.
