The International Insurance Society (IIS), Insurance Thought Leadership (ITL), and Lloyd’s are pleased to announce the finalists for the prestigious Global Innovation Awards. These awards recognize organizations that have demonstrated exceptional achievement in driving innovation and fostering sustainability within insurance and risk management. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Nov. 18 at the Hyatt Regency Miami. The ceremony is a highlight of the Global Insurance Forum, taking place Nov. 17-19 at the same venue.

Finalists for each award category have been selected by a distinguished panel of innovation experts. Winners of the Global Innovation Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on Nov. 18. In the "Insurtech Predict & Prevent" category, finalists will present their efforts to attendees, who will then vote to determine the winner. For all other categories, winners will be chosen by the IIS Executive Council following presentations of the finalists’ groundbreaking programs.

Life/Health/Retirement Innovator of the Year – Finalists

  • AON Health Risk Analyzer: A predictive model that allows employers to take a proactive approach to manage and monitor their future high-cost claimant risk.
  • Hannover Re and healthŌme – Enhancing Critical Illness Cover through Genomics: A risk-free solution to integrate genomics-based products into insurers’ portfolios.

Property/Casualty Innovator of the Year - Finalists

  • IDF’s Tripartite Programme: Climate risk financing and insurance programs that drive resilience against the impacts of climate risk and natural hazards.
  • Liberty+: Liberty Mutual’s digital platform to empower homeowners to manage and mitigate risk.
  • Gallagher Bassett's Clinical Concierge: Innovative targeted resource that engages clinical resources on first notice of a workers compensation claim.

Insurtech Predict & Prevent Innovator of the Year - Finalists

  • Roadzen: Transforming auto insurance and mobility with AI
  • Whisker Labs - Ting: Sensor technology capable of identifying and mitigating fire hazards, helping to save lives and prevent massive loss.
