PITTSBURGH, May 23, 2024
/PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to provide first responders with a much
faster and easier means of accessing and rescuing a person who has
fallen though the ice or is struggling in water," said an inventor,
from Hartford, Wisc., "so I invented A RESCUE ICE SLED. My
design saves time during an emergency rescue, and it would not put
the first responder at risk of also falling through the ice."
The patent-pending invention provides a buoyant unmanned vehicle
for added support on ice or water. In doing so, it enhances rescue
efforts for people falling through ice or struggling in the water.
It also enhances safety by eliminating the need to directly reach
and pull a person free who has fallen through ice on a pond or
lake. The invention features an innovative design that is easy to
use so it is ideal for rescue teams, first responders,
firefighters, etc.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office
of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to
manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept.
