Screen plc - Issue of Shares

On 24 March 2000, C A Williams and D A Collins, the trustees of the Procord
Limited Employee Trust ("the Trust"), exercised the Trust's warrants to
subscribe for 2,236,250 ordinary shares of 0.1p per share at 2.981p per share.
Accordingly, the Company allotted the said number of ordinary shares to the
Trust on 24 March 2000.   

Application will be made to admit these shares to trading on the Alternative
Investment Market.
