TAYLOR WOODROW CONSTRUCTION DISCUSSING SALE OF ITS  WIND ENERGY BUSINESS WITH
NEG MICON A/S OF DENMARK

Taylor Woodrow Construction Ltd and NEG Micon A/S have signed a letter of
intent and opened negotiations that could result in the sale of Taylor Woodrow
Construction's wind energy interests to NEG Micon A/S. 

The discussions relate to the activities of two Taylor Woodrow Construction
Ltd subsidiaries: 

Wind Energy Group (WEG) - designer and manufacturer of wind turbines. The
business has 45 employees and is based in London.  

Taywood Aerolaminates - designer and manufacturer of specialist wind turbine
blades. The business has 65 employees and is based in Southampton. 

The companies expect to conclude discussions by the end of March 1998.
