TOTAL SYSTEMS ON TARGET TO MEET OR EXCEED

                              YEAR END FORECAST


The Board has noted the recent movement in the Total Systems plc share price
and accordingly believes it appropriate to make the following statement:


"Due to the queries being received from shareholders, the Board wishes to
advise the market that Total Systems plc will meet or exceed current market
expectations for the year ending 31 March 2001 and that orders previously
anticipated have been received."
