    Major new e-commerce product launch takes Company into new market areas
                                       
Total  Systems  plc  ("Total"),  the  financial  services  software  supplier,
announces that it will be launching its new e-commerce product, totalenow,  in
the first week of April 2000.

totalenow  is  a  new  concept  in the delivery  of  e-commerce  meeting  many
customers' e-commerce requirements.  Using totalenow customers will be able to
trade their goods and services on the Internet so increasing sales volumes and
the  value  of their businesses, at a lower cost of sale.  totalenow overcomes
the  financial  restrictions encountered by so many companies  by  being  made
available at no capital charge.  Total will be targeting customers in a  broad
range  of  markets, most notably the retail, insurance, leisure & travel,  and
business  services  sectors.   Total have a team  of  professionals  currently
headed  up by Dr Neil Robinson who have developed totalenow, all of whom  work
out of Total's London offices.

Total will continue to invest strongly in both its current principal products:
Ultima,  a  General  Insurance System for Personal and Commercial  lines;  and
Optima  2000+, a Fund Management and Accounting System for Pension  Funds,  so
providing the group with a balanced portfolio of customers and future revenue.

Commenting on the totalenow launch, Terry Bourne, Total's Chairman, said:
