SPG Media Group Plc announces that it was today informed that Mr Steve
Nicholson, Chief Executive, and Mr Keith Sadler, Finance Director, each
purchased 77,000 shares each in the Company at a price of 9 pence per share on
11 January 2006.  Mr Nicholson and Mr Sadler are now interested in 1,009,630 and
1,306,000 shares in the Company respectively, representing approximately 1.1 per
cent. and 1.5 per cent. of the issued share capital respectively.
