Board Appointments - Group Finance Director and
Divisional Director Health and Doctor
Reed Health Group plc, a provider of staffing services in the Social Care and
Health sectors, is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Steve
Cheetham, to the Board as Divisional Director - Health & Doctor and the
appointment of Ian Furniss as Group Finance Director and Director of the Company
with effect from 4 July 2005
Steve Cheetham, age 48, was previously Divisional Managing Director of Managed
Services at Hays Commercial Services Ltd., prior to the divestment of this
business. Steve joined Hays Commercial Services when they acquired Axis
Resources Ltd in 1998, following a successful MBO from the Tomkins Group plc
Ian Furniss, age 43, is a chartered accountant. He has extensive experience of
the recruitment industry having previously held the positions of Group Financial
Director at Harvey Nash Group plc, Chief Accountant and Divisional Finance
Director at Hays Personnel Services and Managing Director at Wynnwith
Engineering Recruitment in addition to other senior roles in the sector. Prior
to joining Reed Health Group, Ian was Group Financial Controller at Anglian
Group plc.
Atholl Craigmyle, the Interim Finance Director appointed in March 2005, will
remain with the business until 30 September 2005 to facilitate the handover to
Ian Furniss and to support the year end process.

developing the business plans and strategies required to achieve long-term

The Company confirmed that, on 16 June 2005, it granted Steve Cheetham the
option to acquire 245,700 ordinary shares of 2.0p at an exercise price of 40.7p
per share under the Company's Enterprise Management Incentive Plan.
The Company also announced that it will be granting Ian Furniss the option to
acquire #100,000 of ordinary shares of 2.0p under its Enterprise Management
Incentive Plan, and 300,000 ordinary shares of 2.0p under its Unapproved Share
Plan at an exercise price to be set within 14 days of his employment commencing
with the Company
Reed Health Group plc has received confirmation from Steve Cheetham and Ian
Furniss that there are no further details which need to be disclosed under
paragraph 16.4 of the UKLA Listing Rules.
