Further re directorate
Further to the announcement made yesterday morning Mothercare
confirms the following details in relation to the proposed board
changes.
Mark Newton-Jones re-joins the board today as Chief Executive
Officer of Mothercare on a salary of GBP480,000pa, all other terms
of his employment contract remain unchanged. As of 18 May 2018 Mark
holds 733,576 ordinary shares in Mothercare. Mark is Chairman of
Graduate Fashion Week and a board member of the INGKA Holding B.V.
(Supervisory Board of the IKEA Group). Mark is also currently a
director of Pockit Limited. In the last five years he has held
directorships with companies within the Shop Direct Group where he
was Chief Executive Officer and then within the Mothercare Group
whilst he was previously Chief Executive Officer between 17 July
2014 and 4 April 2018. Mark was also a non-executive director of
Boohoo plc from 2013 to 2016.
David Wood remains an executive director of the Group and has
been appointed Group Managing Director. The terms and conditions of
his employment contract are otherwise unchanged.
