TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Leyshon Resources Limited (AIM/ASX:LRL) announces that pursuant to the announcement by the Company on 4 October 2011 of the commencement of a share buy-back programme, on 22 June 2012 it purchased 310,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average of A$0.1906 per share on the Australian Stock Exchange. These Ordinary Shares will be cancelled by the Company.

As a result of the above purchase of Ordinary Shares and following their cancellation by the Company, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 244,311,383 each carrying one vote. This is the number of shares which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the United Kingdom Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
