Response to Announcement of Incepta Offer

The Board of Lopex plc ("Lopex" or the "Company") has noted this mornings'
announcement by Incepta Group plc, of an unsolicited offer for the entire
issued share capital of the Company.

Shareholders are strongly advised to take no action in respect of their
shareholdings.

The Board, who are being advised by Granville Markets Limited, will be
considering its response to the unsolicited offer and will make a further
announcement in due course.
