Trading Statement for the five weeks ending 4th January 2007



Luminar's strategy is focused on the creation of a high quality, branded
destination venue business.



We are pleased to report an encouraging sales performance during the important
festive period. Like-for-like sales from branded Dancing increased 7.3% and
continuing operations as a whole rose 3.1%. Gross margins have remained strong
throughout the Christmas period in line with the trend experienced throughout
the financial year.



Our opening programme for 2006 completed before Christmas with the new
operations trading well and we have a strong pipeline of new sites for 2007/8.
