Result of EGM



Luminar plc announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting, held today, the
resolution relating to the disposal of the Entertainment Division and 31
non-core units, was duly passed.  Proxy votes lodged on the resolution were
52,043,112 for, against 250,991 and 94,188 abstained from voting.



The transaction will complete on 19 January 2007.



The company will announce a trading update which will include the Christmas
period on 17 January 2007.
