Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 539,180 Ordinary par value shares of 10 cent each
("shares") to be admitted to the Official List.

It is expected admission will be granted on 10 October 2002 and trading will
commence 11 October 2002.

These shares are being issued as a result of the implementation of share options
under the staff share options scheme and will rank pari passu with the existing
issued ordinary shares.
