                    APPOINTMENT OF CEO TO NORDIC OPERATIONS

Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR), the financial services firm, is pleased
to announce that Hakan Wallin has joined the Company as CEO for its Nordic
business, Libertas Capital Nordic AB. This as a further strengthening of
Libertas Capital's focus in the mid-cap market to certain regions world-wide
where Northern Europe plays an important role.

Hakan Wallin has significant experience from the financial markets, most
recently from a position as partner at ABG Sundal Collier's corporate finance
team and before that at Ernst &Young Corporate Finance in Stockholm. He also
trained as an accountant. He has extensive transaction experience from varied
industry sectors, more specifically he has significant experience from the
healthcare sector and was responsible for the Health Care Practice at ABG Sundal
Collier's corporate finance department.
