                              ISSUE OF NEW SHARES

Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR), the financial services firm, announces
that 231,785 new shares have been issued as a result of the exercise of a
warrant by a former adviser granted on 14 July 2004 (the date of admission to
AIM). The exercise price of the warrant is 30p per ordinary share resulting in a
cash receipt of #69,535. The total issued share capital of Libertas Capital post
the issue of these new shares amounts to 42,206,846.

Application for the admission of the 231,785 Libertas Capital new ordinary
shares for trading on AIM has been submitted and dealings are expected to
commence on 23 July 2006.
