                              ISSUE OF NEW SHARES



Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR), the financial services firm, announces
that 180,473 new shares have been issued as a result of the exercise of rights
over awards made under the Libertas Capital Group plc Share Incentive Plan. The
total number of ordinary shares in issue amounts to 41,975,061.



As a result, Mr Sven Skarendahl, a Director of the Company, is interested in
180,473 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.43% of the issued
ordinary share capital.



Application for the admission of the 180,473 Libertas Capital new ordinary
shares for trading on AIM has been submitted and dealings are expected to
commence on 5 July 2006.
