JumpTV Inc. ("The Company"): Purchase of Own Shares


TORONTO--(Marketwire - August 30, 2007) - JumpTV Inc. (TSX: JTV) (AIM: JTV)
announces, pursuant to AIM disclosure requirements, that in connection with the
Company's announced normal course issuer bid which commenced on Thursday, August
23, 2007, that since its last disclosure on August 28, 2007, the Company has
acquired 16,900 common shares at an average price of Cdn$3.48 per share. The
shares purchased will be cancelled and the number of common shares outstanding
as at today's date, giving effect to this cancellation, is 48,733,745.
