Scrip Dividend for Information for 2017 Interim Dividend

The Company offers shareholders the opportunity to receive new fully paid ordinary shares in the Company, instead of a cash dividend, by participating in the Company's scrip dividend scheme ('the Scheme').

On 3 August, the Company announced an interim dividend for the year ending 31 December 2017 of 21.62 US$ cents per share for shareholders on the register on 15 September 2017. The scrip reference share price for those who are, or who will elect to become, participants in the Scheme in respect of the Interim Dividend is 629.35 pence.

The scrip reference share price is the average of the closing middle market quotation for ordinary shares, derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List, for the five dealing days from and including 14 September 2017.

The payment of a cash dividend will be made in pounds sterling. Based on the exchange rate of $1.34320, the WMReuters GBP/USD 9am fix (London time) four business days prior to the date of announcement of the scrip reference price, the sterling cash dividend is GBP0.16095890 per ordinary share.

The deadline for application under the scrip scheme in respect of the 2017 Interim Dividend is 17:00 hours (London time) on 29 September 2017.

The terms and conditions of the scrip dividend are available on the Company's website at www.inmarsat.com in the Investors' section. Further queries on the Scheme should be directed to the Company's Registrar, Equiniti, on 0371 384 2739 (from the UK) or +44 121 415 7047 (from outside the UK).
