Appointment of Non-Executive Director

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, the Board of Gulf Investment Fund PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Anderson Whamond as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Anderson Whamond joins with over thirty years' experience in the banking and financial services sector. He is a Non-Executive Director of The International Stock Exchange Group Limited and a Non-Executive Director of the Irish domiciled Magna Umbrella Fund as well as the OAKS Emerging & Frontier Umbrella Fund. Previously, he was a Non-Executive Director of Cayman Islands domiciled OCCO Eastern European Fund.
