                     FINALISED CH04 DIAMOND DRILL RESULTS                      

                               FROM DONG MAO HUO                               

LONDON - 7 December 2007 - Central China Goldfields plc (AIM: GGG) is pleased
to announce it has now received the outstanding three gold assays and the
complete base metal assay results for hole CH04 at its Dong Mao Huo project in
China.

Highlight:

  * Diamond drill hole CH04 returned 45.7 metres at 2.71 g/t gold, 0.43% copper
    and 19.82 g/t silver, from 107.5 metres down hole.
   
These results complete the samples for diamond drill hole CH04 and indicate the
potential for elevated gold and base metals on the Dong Mao Huo near surface
gold property.

Jeff Malaihollo, Managing Director of Central China Goldfields plc, comments:

"The gold assays remain the Company's main economic focus on the Dong Mao Huo
near surface gold property but the presence of copper, silver and trace zinc
indicate that the project requires further exploration to understand its full
potential. Further assays will be released as they are received."

Technical information in Company news releases has been reviewed and approved
by Dr. Jeffrey Malaihollo. He holds a BA and PhD in Geological Sciences and is
a Fellow of the Geological Society.
