                     Board Appointments

The Board of Eleco Holdings is pleased to announce that Mr 
Herman Scopes and Mr John Morgan have today been appointed
Non-Executive Directors.

Mr Herman Scopes was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive of 
ICI's Worldwide Paints Business.

Mr John Morgan has recently retired as Investment Director of 
the Civil Aviation Authority Pension Fund.

Mr Alan Plumpton has today retired from the Board.  We are 
grateful to him for his wise counsel and contribution to our 
deliberations.
