Re: Company Secretary

The Board of Directors of Dewhurst plc wish to announce that Mr M N Green has
resigned as Company Secretary with effect from 30th September 2005.

Mr J C Sinclair, BSc, ACA who is currently the Group Financial Director, will
assume the duties of Company Secretary with effect from 1st October 2005, in
addition to his current duties.
