LONDON--Cyan Holdings PLC (CYAN.LN), a system and software design company delivering mesh based flexible wireless solutions for utility metering and lighting control, on Monday announced that it has signed a teaming agreement with Vodafone Group PLC's (VOD.LN) Machine-to-Machine team to create joint propositions and submit proposals to customers to enable either party to address the smart metering market in India.

"We are very pleased to announce this partnership and that our CyLec platform will be installed in Vodafone's Customer Experience Center in Mumbai to demonstrate its capability in providing metering solutions," Executive Chairman John Cronin said. "This is another step in offering sustainable solutions to the Indian power sector through strategic partnerships," he added.

-Shares at 0720 GMT up 15% at 0.2 pence valuing the company at GBP8 million.
