    Pursuant to AIM rule 17, Clipper Windpower Plc makes notification of the following share option grants on 2 May 2008 to directors of the
Company:

    *     Albert Baciocco has been granted an option to acquire 10,000 new ordinary shares in the Company of 10p each;

    *     Anthony Durrant has been granted an option to acquire 10,000 new ordinary shares in the Company of 10p each;

    *     Alan Heeger has been granted an option to acquire 10,000 new ordinary shares in the Company of 10p each;

    *     Sidney Tassin has been granted an option to acquire 10,000 new ordinary shares in the Company of 10p each;

    The share option grant is pursuant to the rules of the Company's 2005 Executive Share Option Plan.

    The share purchase price is based upon the 2 May 2008 mid-market closing price of £5.325 per share.  Options to acquire 5,000 shares
vest and are exercisable on 2 May 2009 and on 2 May 2010. These options expire on 2 May 2014. The consideration of the grant was nil.
