London, (UK), Carpinteria, CA (USA) - April 21, 2008 - Clipper Windpower Plc
("Clipper"), a rapidly growing manufacturer of advanced wind turbines and
developer of wind energy projects is issuing this update following the results
of the General Meeting of Clipper held on 18 April 2008.


Further to the Trading Statement issued on 25 March 2008, Clipper is pleased to
announce that, at its General Meeting held on 18 April 2008, the special
resolution proposed to shareholders (as set out in its circular to shareholders
dated 26 March 2008) was duly passed. Clipper will therefore issue 4,692,220
ordinary shares of 10 pence each in Clipper at a price of 537.5 pence per share
raising gross proceeds of �25.2 million (US$ 50.2 million), representing
approximately 4.3 per cent of the current issued share capital of Clipper. The
share issuance is conditional upon admission of the application to trading on
the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange on 21 April 2008.
