SHARE PURCHASE, VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

Close Second AIM VCT PLC announces that it purchased 13,772 Ordinary shares at a
price of 42 pence per share on 26 October 2007. This represents 0.05% of the
total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction.

These shares will be held in treasury.

Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive's
transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following;

Close Second AIM VCT PLC's capital today consists of 7,669,349 Ordinary shares,
8,214,295 C shares and 12,026,498 D shares, with a nominal value of 5p each,
with voting rights. The Company holds 13,772 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Close Second AIM VCT PLC is
27,896,370.

The figure of 27,896,370 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or change to their interest in Close Second AIM VCT PLC under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
