SHARE PURCHASE , VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL



Close Second AIM VCT PLC announces that it has, purchased 11,959 Ordinary shares
at a price of 45 pence per share on 10 August 2007.  This Represents 0.04% of
the total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction.  These
shares will be cancelled.



Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive's
transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following;



Close Second AIM VCT PLC's capital today consists of 7,669,349 Ordinary shares,
8,214,295 C shares and 12,026,498 D shares, each with a nominal value of 5p
each, with voting rights.  Close Second AIM VCT PLC does not hold any shares in
Treasury.



Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Close Second AIM VCT PLC is
27,910,142.



The figure of 27,910,142 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or change to their interest in, Close Second AIM VCT PLC under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
