                                CROMA GROUP PLC
                            ("Croma" or "the Group")

THREE NEW PRODUCTS LAUNCHED TO MARKET
                                      AND
                            CURRENT PORTFOLIO UPDATE

Crime exists in almost every urban centre, the threat of global terrorism is
constant and air travel itself is not without risk. These factors have prompted
the growth of an intelligent and responsive security industry and the provision
of innovative overt and covert security solutions.

The Board of Croma, the specialists in the design, development and production of
overt and covert surveillance and defence related products, today updates
shareholders on the launch of three new innovative surveillance products and
provides an overview of the Group's entire solutions portfolio.

NEW SOLUTIONS

Developed by Croma-Shawley, the Group's CCTV arm, "i-vision", "Remotivision" and
the "King IPT 765 Integrated Head" were conceived in response to the increasing
security issues that face us today. Today, the Board will be unveiling i-vision,
Remotivision and the King IPT 765 at Ifsec, the leading global security annual
international exhibition and conference, to an anticipated 25,000 visitors.

The new wireless i-vision CCTV system enables surveillance of temporary or
permanent troublespots by police, local authorities, utilities and transport
operators. A scaleable security solution, i-vision was developed with
flexibility in mind and has the ability to add third party protocols when
required. i-vision allows for the simultaneous display, recording and playback
of multiple cameras. Multi level camera patrols and sequences can also be
defined and implemented, and its built-in search tool aids the easy location of
recorded footage, as well as featuring a footage gallery to keep selected
recorded footage.

Remotivision, a stand-alone wireless CCTV system for remote or temporary
locations, is suited to the surveillance of remote utilities such as reservoirs
and large government installations. Remotivision needs no main power supply as
power is supplied from an integral battery maintained by the units own wind and
solar charging devices. The unit can be programmed to alert the client via the
mobile phone network of any movement in the area it is monitoring, and images
can be viewed and the unit may be operated via PC from any location.

The King IPT 765 is the first integrated camera mount to feature a power supply
in the head itself, making installation a simple 'plug & play' operation. The
unit, which may be top-mounted, or inverted, has a 180 degree unobstructed tilt
and continuous rotation to offer 0.1-100 degrees per second pan & tilt speeds.
The unit, which also offers a sun visor and wiper facility option for use in the
harshest of environments, combines performance, aesthetics and quality.

CURRENT PORTFOLIO OF SOLUTIONS

As both governments and private bodies bear responsibility for the protection of
individuals and the community as a whole, safety and security is increasingly
taking a high priority. Croma continues to provide innovative and quality
solutions to meet this escalating demand with their existing surveillance &
counter surveillance products, systems and services. The Group's current product

       a wide range of applications;

launching i - vision, Remotivision, and the King IPT 765 Integrated Head. This
