We received notification on the 3 January 2001 that the regulated business of
M & G Investment Management Limited was transferred to Prudential Portfolio
Managers Ltd on 31 December 2000. This was subsequently renamed as M & G
Investment Management Limited and as such they are interested in 4,816,944
ordinary shares in Capital Radio plc, representing 5.90% of the ordinary shares
in issue.
