                                 BOARD CHANGES
                                       
Following Capital Radio plc's successful acquisition of Border Television plc,
the company today announces two changes to the Board with immediate effect.

Sally Oldham, previously Managing Director - Group Radio, joins the Board as
Strategy and Development Director.  Her new role will include the development
of new growth opportunities in UK and overseas radio, licence applications,
acquisitions, digital, and all political and regulatory relationships.

Paul Davies, previously Commercial Director and a member of the Board, has
been appointed Operations Director, with responsibility for the day to day
running of the company's radio businesses, including the integration of the
newly acquired Century and Sun FM brands, as well as IT and HR.
