Capital's Got London Covered
* Capital Radio - London's leading commercial radio group
* 95.8 Capital FM remains London's leading commercial station
* All Capital London breakfast shows gain listeners - 95.8 Capital FM,
Xfm, Capital Gold, Choice FM all increase reach
* Johnny Vaughan number one, adding 83,000 more listeners
* Group UK commercial share maintained at 15.1%
* UK wide reach stable at 7.7 million

Capital Radio showed that it has got London covered, with particular success at
breakfast across all of our London stations. At 95.8 Capital FM, Johnny Vaughan
continued to hold the coveted number one commercial breakfast show position for
the third consecutive survey and increased the lead on the show's nearest
competitors.
Halfway through the 18 month launch plan for Johnny's show, his audience is
growing, reaching 1.13 million listeners and increasing share from 7.1% to 7.7%.
Group Performance
Capital Radio maintained its share of commercial listening with some notable
successes across the Group. The Capital FM Network leads the UK commercial radio
marketplace with 4.5 million adult listeners, while the Century FM Network has
topped the 2 million mark with a record 2,052,000 adult listeners throughout the
UK. Xfm has once again proven that the appetite for the best in new music is
growing and the station now reaches 693,000 listeners. Our latest addition,
Choice FM also grew its reach with 92,000 more listeners and a total reach of
475,000. With 1.4 million adult listeners, the Capital Gold network maintained
over 300,000 digital listeners and our digital only stations, Capital Disney and
Life continued to perform well.
