Bright Futures is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Greenwood as the
new finance director of the Company, which will take effect on 8 October 2004.
Tony is 39 years old and joins from National Schoolwear Centres PLC, where he
was the finance director.

Tony qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and held various finance
positions at the electrical retailer Tandy (InterTan UK Limited), before joining
Claire's Accessories UK Limited ("Claire's").

During the period February 1996 - April 2003, Tony was finance director at
Claire's, a fashion jewellery and accessories retailer, where he was responsible
for finance, IT, logistics and loss prevention. During this time Claire's grew
from 50 UK stores to approximately 650 stores in the UK and 6 other European
countries.

There are no further details to be disclosed in respect of Tony Greenwood under
paragraph (f) of Schedule Two of the Alternative Investment Market rules.
