PLEDGE OVER 14,629,250 BURANI ORDINARY SHARES OWNED BY BURANI PRIVATE HOLDING 
S.P.A 
Burani Designer Holding N.V. (AIM: BRDH), a company offering Italian lifestyle 
products and services to customers world-wide, announces that on 10 October 2007 
its majority shareholder, Burani Private Holding (owning 53% of the Burani's 
Ordinary Shares) S.p.A ("BPH"), created a secondary pledge in favour of 
Interbanca S.p.A. ("Interbanca") over 14,629,250 Burani Ordinary Shares owned by 
BPH (the "New Pledge"). The New Pledge replaced an existing pledge over Burani's 
Ordinary Shares in favour of Intebanca pursuant to a deed of pledge dated 27 
December 2006. The New Pledge was created with the aim of securing BPH's 
monetary payment obligations owed to Interbanca under a new loan agreement.
