FURTHER INFORMATION RE EUR323 MILLION OFFERING OF SENIOR
                   NOTES AND WARRANTS

On  27  January 2000, Atlantic announced the  raising  of
approximately  EUR323 million (before  expenses)  through
the  issue  of 75,000 Sterling Units, consisting  of  #75
million  13.25  per  cent. Sterling Notes  due  2010  and
75,000   Sterling  Warrants,  and  200,000  Euro   Units,
consisting  of EUR200 million 13.00 per cent. Euro  Notes
due 2010 and 200,000 Euro Warrants.

The  lead manager of the offering, Chase Securities Inc.,
has exercised its right to split the Units.  Accordingly,
from  today,  the  Sterling  Units  will  be  split  into
Sterling Notes and Sterling Warrants, and the Euro  Units
will   be  split  into  Euro  Notes  and  Euro  Warrants.
Henceforth the Sterling Notes, the Sterling Warrants, the
Euro Notes and the Euro Warrants may be traded separately
and  application will be made to list them separately  on
the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
