Tolux shareholders are advised that Standard Bank Investment Corporation Limited
("Stanbic"), the controlling shareholder of Tolux, has informed the Tolux board
of directors that Stanbic is considering proposals which may result in a change
of control of Tolux.  This may affect the Tolux share price.

Tolux shareholders are accordingly advised to exercise caution when dealing in
their shares until a further announcement is made.
