VCampus Corporation (OTCBB:VCMP.OB), owner of Prosoft Learning and
the CIW certification, today announced that U.S. veterans can now
use their Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits to
cover CIW (Certified Internet Web Professional) examination fees
for 12 various CIW certification exams. The VA education benefits
are effective retroactively to June 1, 2005. Veterans eligible for
benefits through the Montgomery G.I. Bill (Chapter 30), the
Veterans Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 32), and the
Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program (Chapter
35) can submit proof of their exam results and fee payment to the
VA for reimbursement of the CIW exam fees, currently $125 per exam.
Eligibility applies regardless of the number of exams taken or
retaken, and includes exams taken for certification renewal and
those taken in foreign countries. The benefit is still valid even
if an individual does not pass the exam. The CIW exams are part of
CIW's comprehensive Information Technology (IT) training and
certification program focused on Web technologies and specific job
roles, with vendor-neutral knowledge and skills covering multiple
hardware and software platforms and vendors. "CIW certification can
offer thousands of veterans new opportunities by validating the IT
skills they need to compete in today's job market," said Nat
Kannan, chairman and CEO of VCampus. "With more than 80,000 CIW
certificate holders worldwide, U.S. veterans can assert their value
by proving they have the skills employers require. The Internet has
become a part of everyday life throughout the world, so employers
need workers who have strong Internet technology skills and
knowledge. CIW helps employers to ensure they hire the best talent
available. As one of the few IT certifications approved by the VA
for education reimbursement, CIW again proves its worth as a
job-role certification program." VCampus also serves veterans
through its contract with Amer Technology Inc. to support VA
Learning Online (VALO). Under this multiyear contract, VCampus
provides an online learning environment that makes courses,
including VCampus' certification preparation and other courses from
its library, readily available to approximately 225,000 VA
employees at all VA locations. Under the terms of the VALO
contract, VCampus has the right to expand the audience for the
courses that are provided to include volunteers, medical residents,
and veterans who are engaged in official VA programs. VCampus
estimates that this expanded audience for VCampus' services is in
excess of 450,000 people. For more information about VA
reimbursement, CIW certifications and training options, visit
http://www.CIWcertified.com/VA. Veterans can visit
www.gibill.va.gov for information about all VA benefits. In 2005
alone, the VA helped pay for the education or training of more than
336,000 veterans and active-duty personnel, 87,000 reservists and
National Guard troops and 74,000 survivors. VA education programs,
which pay eligible veterans up to $1,034 a month while they are
attending school, are a key inducement the military uses to entice
recruits. More than 500,000 veterans and eligible dependents use VA
education benefits. About VCampus(R) VCampus Corporation
