Bette Daoust, to its product development team as Director
of Technology Operations.
Dr. Daoust has 30 plus years? experience
with designing and developing documentation including technical writing, training
systems, knowledge management systems and business management/leadership development.
In Dr. Daoust role as TMMI?s Director of Technology Operations, she
will ensure the TRUDEF?
updated codec is documented to
the highest
standard. Also she is charged with
monitoring workflow
management and project scheduling of
the TRUDEF? Digital Video
Compression technology product development.
With
Cisco Systems, from 2007-2011, Dr. Daoust served as Program Manager and
Business Engagement Manager within Supply Chain
functions, duties
included Management of Technical Projects, Technical Documentation Writer, and Technical Trainer.
A highly accomplished business consultant and best-selling author
with experience
in Program and Project Management; Technical Writing; Knowledge Management; instructional design, within the
technology sector and fortune
500 organizations. Her Blueprints
for Success series of books
has been published in 7 countries.
With over 200
books and publications through her company,
Vervial Group, which she
founded in 2003, Dr. Daoust has worked with companies such as
Cisco Systems, Accenture, Peet?s Coffee & Tea, Ministry of Education (British Columbia), TELUS, BC Hydro in
the field of Knowledge Management
and Business Process Development.
Earlier,
Dr.
Daoust
developed curriculum for distance education in the
BC
School system,
computing science initiatives, and
provided teaching programs in
Business Education & Entrepreneurial studies.
She received her Ph.D. from Northcentral University in Arizona in
2003 with
majors in
Business Management, Computing Science and Engineering. She earned her M.A.
from Simon Fraser University and a B.
Ed. (Sec) University of British Columbia. She achieved a
Green Belt 6 Sigma Plus with
Cisco Systems.
