STOCKHOLM--Swedbank AB on Thursday appointed two new members to its group executive committee, naming Charlotte Rydin as the bank's new chief legal officer and head of group legal, and Jon Lidefelt as the new head of Baltic banking.

Ms. Rydin will join the bank as of January 2021, coming from pension provider Alecta where she was chief legal officer. She previously held the same position at both the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and the Swedish National Debt Office, and has served as compliance manager and lawyer at hedge fund Brummer & Partners, the bank said.

Mr. Lidefelt will join effective August 1. He has been acting head of Baltic banking since the turn of the year, and has extensive experience in the financial sector. He has worked both as CFO of Swedbank's Baltic business since 2017 and as an on-site consultant in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Swedbank said.
